1	Assist the Government in developing Hong Kong as the leading Smart City in the region
2	Advise the Government on formulating policies and standards related to Smart City development
3	Provide a platform for the Government, technology partners, academia and commercial organizations to collaborate and exchange ideas relating to Smart City issues
4	Conduct Smart City related policy research
5	Promote public awareness and adoption of Smart City technologies
6	Connect with international Smart City advocacy groups and organizations to facilitate communication and information exchange
